Raju Shrivastav is the son of famous poet Balai Kaka, Raju was born in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh on 25 January 1963, his real name was Satya Prakash Shri Vastu. He used to perform his comedy in the program, but he did not get any money for doing comedy, still he was not disappointed, he wanted to be famous like his father.

When Raju Shree Vastu came to Mumbai, he was not known here, he hardly got an opportunity to do comedy, but it was not possible for him to live in a bigger city, so he started driving an auto rickshaw along with comedy. I did it so that I could somehow continue to earn and get two meals a day.
