 Raju Shrivastav is the son of famous poet Balai Kaka, Raju was born in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh on 25 January 1963, his real name was Satya Prakash Shri Vastu. He used to perform his comedy in the program, but he did not get any money for doing comedy, still he was not disappointed, he wanted to be famous like his father.

 One day, when Raju Shrivastav was going out after participating in a program in his own village, a man handed him a 50 rupee note and said, "This is your reward.
